HVAC Service Technician
Essential Job Functions
- The HVAC Service Technician diagnoses and repairs problems with HVAC systems
- Purging, brazing, testing, evacuating, and charging of Freon systems
- Understand a volt/ohmmeter
- Perform daily service calls
- Able to take on-call on a rotating night and weekend schedule
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment for commercial and residential customers
Qualifications
- Journeyman HVAC Technician
- Minimum 2 years of experience (or formal HVAC schooling)
- Universal EPA license (or able to obtain one within 30 days)
- Basic fundamentals and knowledge of HVAC system
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic controls knowledge
- Have an Alexandria gas card (or able to obtain gas card within 30 days)
- Able to work independently
- Self-motivated
